  Drinks were served promptly. The onion bahjee can only be described as a tasteless piece of soggy dough!! One course ran into the next course without a break, was not offered deserts. Total lack of ambience to the evening. General impression was let's get diners in and out as quick as possible.

  Superb service and a renowned chef make this place a hidden gem. Ask head chef Enam (recently featured on Nigel Slater) for the chef's recommendation for truly authentic Indian food, but they also serve everything you'd expect from a traditional British Indian restaurant. Best in Wales.

  Freshly cooked food which you can see being made in the clean kitchen. Attentive and friendly staff and a wide menu selection.

  Having to follow low FODMAP diet to help manage IBS is a chore but unavoidable. I normally just deal with the consequences after an Indian and suffer however I asked if any dishes came without onions or garlic. 'No' was the unsurprising answer from the charming front of house owner, but they were up for the challenge. After a number of visits back and forth to the kitchen to speak with his brother, the head chef himself came out three times to check ingredients with me, as he tweaked his made-up-on-the-fly new recipe. Unbelievably accommodating, the result was a delicious never before tasted chicken tandoori dish, sat on a bed of lightly mashed potato, surrounded by a moat of lamb shank, mushroom, ginger, spiced sauce to die for! The chef again came out to check how his creation had been received, to which I enthusiastically encouraged him to add it to the menu! However, I am now cursed. I live in Guildford and for every Indian I now have, this is what I'll be craving! Please add it to the menu and I'll be back for sure, seeing as the Grandparents live just up the road! Thanks again!
